The Warren Polka Boosters Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the best dancing and music entertainment while supporting various charities. We take pride in hiring the best bands around.
Our dances are open to everyone. At our dances, we have a variety of music. It ranges from polkas and waltzes to ballroom and Latin American dancing, as well as rock n’ roll and line dancing.
Our dances are “theme” oriented and everyone is encouraged to dress for the occasion. Some of our themes are the Hawaiian Polka Party, the Roaring 20’s, a Halloween party, Marti Gras, the Annual Beach Party, and our more formal dances such as the Christmas and Anniversary dance.
For the most part, our dances take place from 2PM until 6PM at the Utica Knights of Columbus Hall located at 44425 Utica Road in Utica, Michigan. Our dinner dances take place a little earlier. Check out our schedule for the times of each of our dances.
Membership is open to singles or couples of all ages. By becoming a member, you will receive our monthly newsletter containing upcoming dances and events not only for our club, but for other organizations as well. You are encouraged to attend the monthly membership meeting. The meetings are held at 8PM on the first Thursday of each month at the Cpl. Menge Hall located at 25500 Sherwood in Centerline, Michigan.
At our meetings, we discuss upcoming dances in and around the area as well as what is going on in the club. After the meeting, you can stay and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Couples that celebrate an anniversary are presented a special gift at our dance. Any couple celebrating fifty years of marriage will receive a plaque.
Our theme lyrics were written by John Matusiak to the song GREEN GRASS POLKA on October 29, 1986
